About Me
Henriett Juhasz is a Womenswear Creative Pattern Cutter currently based in London. She graduated from London College of Fashion with a First Class Honours Degree in Fashion Design Technology Womenswear in 2014.
To date, Henriett Juhasz has gained valuable technological and creative knowledge while interning at Mary Katrantzou for four months during the university years. After graduation, she worked at start-up luxury label Mariana Jungmann where she acted as Assistant Designer and Pattern Cutter for four seasons.
Currently she is a Creative Pattern Cutter at a High Street Supplier as well as working freelance for the luxury sector.

Tasks: Assisting the designer with designing of the company's own range.
Create first patterns from designer's sketches or flat drawings. Working directly with the designer with the selection of fabrics and finishes, considering costs, functionality and manufacturing.
Liaising with seamstresses on a daily basis
Pattern amendments as per fit comments to gold seal stage.
Creating flat drawings and costing sheets.

Technical Tasks: Interpreting designer’s sketches via flat pattern cutting and draping. Making up toiles,coordinating and assisting fittings and amending patterns. Deciding on finishings and creating final tech packs and costing. Liasing with seamstresses and factories. Making sure that the critical path is followed. Resolving any technical issues that might arise. Responsible for hiring and managing interns. Creating patterns for private client orders.
Designer Tasks: Range planning.Trend and theme research each season. Designing with the brand’s costumer and aesthetic in mind and also considering feedbacks from sales, visiting fabric fairs and sourcing fabrics. Researching manufacturers including fabric suppliers and manufacturers. Taking part in styling for shows and lookbook photoshoots. Assisting with casting of models and decide on running orders. Managing dressers at Fashion Week Shows (London, Berlin) and making sure everything is in order, resolving any issues or reporting any major to the designer.
